When all the announcements and photos were shared, BLINKs and netizens hit back at YG Entertainment after believing the company was trying to “hide” or “downplay” Lisa’s talent and popularity. They also joked that while YG seemingly thought they were discussing contract renewal options with Lisa, the idol had probably already started planning for her future.

Many fans believe YG Entertainment was holding Lisa back, and now she is in control of her work, Lisa has showcased her true influence and dominance.
